Security vs. Privacy

Since 9/11, the happy median between security has continued to blur and alter standards of privacy and personal space especially when it comes to air travel. But when does too much become enough? Consumer advocacy groups have taken charge to stop airport security from inordinate checks on laptops; opening them up and reading emails, documents, etc. On top of that, they claim there are indications that these checks are anything but random, targetting certain groups in particular. Is this truly all in the name of security?

What to do if you spill liquid on your laptop

Okay, so this is way further than most people would feel comfortable going with their laptop. Not everbody can take their laptop apart completely and still be certain they know how to put it back together.  The main thing is this: if you spill liquid on your laptop (or any electronics), the key is to turn it off and unplug it immediately, and take the battery out.  Turn it upside down on top of a towel to let it dry out, and call for help.  Follow the link below if you're feeling more adventurous…
